We are a group of fine art students , currently enrolled in the fine print department at the National College of art and design. We are a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of artistic concerns. The exhibition will demonstrate many forms of Print practise from the traditional processes of etching and lithography through to digital and photographic/image capture. The overall title of this exhibition is "The Extraordinary in the Everyday" and this has allowed for the individual artists to interpret/explore/define through wide ranging conceptual concerns. There is no house style here rather a demonstration of individuality and group endeavor under "The Extraordinary in the Everyday".
Thursdays nights the Twisted Pepper becomes Mr Jones' house, honing in on a yet un-tagged musical style fusing together house/electro/bassline/Baltimore/Kuduro and all those other gritty urban genres in between. Mr Jones also teams up with a number of local collectives including the Crafty Beggars clique for a monthly art & photography expo, "We Got Your Fashion Right Here" which showcases the latest clobber by young Dublin designers, as well as the Analogue Magazine crew who host a nice selection of live bands & performances.
Home to Mr. Jones! Find it on Dublin's Abbey Street, next to the Acadamy and across from Arnotts!
